It’s hatching time for the 48 hours of urban agriculture! This event is making a comeback this weekend. It revolves around four axes: greening the city, cultivating knowledge, expanding the territory and creating with the living. Selection of the (many) activities on the program.
Rides
Around the birds at Parc Pré Sandin (Saturday from 9 am to 11.30 am). Walking conversation from the future Loubière park (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). Highlighting Las and the Toulon gardens (Alexander I garden), architecture and art (Las garden) or even pollinators in urban areas (place des Savonnières) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Workshops
Creation of a structure in Cannes de Provence (Place du Globe on Saturday morning). Revegetation of the Rue des Arts (Saturday afternoon) and the Visitation (Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.). Manufacture of fabric flowers (place de l’Équerre 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) or even water diffusers for plants (Rue des Arts at 2 p.m.). Especially for children: creation of a plant mandala and drawings (place des Savonnières from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.).
Exhibitions
At the port of creators: a creative, atypical and artistic herbarium. Place du Globe: Fine Arts graduates show their artistic installation projects on the future metropolitan path. Caroline Chaylart exhibits her colorful and vegetal illustrations at the Galerie Lisa (Rue des Arts).
A conference
Between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., the public is invited to listen to Jean-Noël Consalès, lecturer at the Institute of Urban Planning and Regional Development. He will talk about urban agriculture and agri-urbanism.

Sunday in the garden
The gardens of the metropolis open their doors especially for the occasion of May 15.
This is particularly the case of the Florane garden (Toulon), the Sôllei’O (Solliès-Toucas), the shared garden (Pierrefeu).
The public will also be able to visit an urban vegetable and medicinal garden (Toulon), take part in participatory projects (plan du pont school in Hyères or the Golden Seeds garden in Toulon).
Also noteworthy, a bike ride on the side of La Garde, chemin de la Bouilla.
