Volkswagen could not keep the appearance of the updated Tiguan Volkswagen secret, because the first shot of the crossover with the design of the front in the style of the eighth generation Golf was posted on the Web a month ago. In a new batch of photos, a camouflaged car mimics a Tiguan dorestyled, however, it is not difficult to consider a new shape of headlights under a camouflage film, a different body kit and a wider grille. There are still no photos of the salon, however, serious changes can hardly be expected inside. Unless the front panel and the media system are likely to undergo minor changes. According to preliminary information, the range will include “soft” hybrids with a 48-volt starter-generator, familiar from the new Golf, as well as a full-fledged rechargeable version, which so far is only available in China.
