This is the title of the exhibition which is held until October at the Cégep Limoilou library and which tells the history of the neighborhood in twelve documentary tableaux. Produced entirely, as session work, by four students of Martine Dumais, professor of history at the establishment, the exhibition reveals the Limoilou district, its history and its evolution, through photographs and archive images. Originally from Charlesbourg, the four humanities students at Cégep Limoilou, Liliane Roy, Hubert Adam-Marsolais, Cedrick Tailor et Milan Simard (photo), were also able to count on the advice of Daniel Papillon and Gilles Gallichan, members of the Société historique de Limoilou, throughout their project, of which they were the prime contractors. The exhibition is presented on the mezzanine of the library (photo) during normal opening hours.

Marie-Helene Gagnon et Sirois winner (photos), of Rivière-du-Loup (formerly of Pohénégamook), celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary today. Married in Saint-Urbain on August 30, 1958, the couple had 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. An example of complicity and respect for the whole family, Marie-Hélène and Lauréat owned an agricultural farm for several years in Saint-Éleuthère. Parallel to his work as a farmer, Lauréat was a lumberjack. The couple moved to Rivière-du-Loup in 1992 and have been living in residence since 2021 for a better quality of life.
