up to 500 euros per family. Here is who it is and how to request it

In days, probably by the end of the month, the internet bonus for pc and tablet will arrive: families with the lowest incomes will therefore be able to count on a voucher of 500 euros per the purchase of internet subscriptions and for computers and tablets, a measure to counter the digital divide. This was announced by the Minister of Innovation, Paola Pisano, which called a hearing in the Transport Committee in the House notes that the Recovery plan could also find space a boost to e-commerce, to “enhance the value of SMEs operating in inland and disadvantaged areas”.

In days, by the end of September, the first tranche of bonuses should arrive for the purchase of internet subscriptions and the use of computers, but there will also be discounts for the others and aid for businesses. The digitization of the country is certainly among the priorities in the use of resources that come from the EU and the projects that the ministry has in mind are not few, summarized in 39 files and five areas.

COMING IN DAYS The minister reassured the arrival of the vouchers, explaining that the decree that unlocks them “was signed by the Court of Auditors, so we are in the final stages”. To access the benefits it will be necessary to use Spid, the digital identity, the minister anticipates. A way therefore to encourage citizens to activate the single password. The bonuses are 200 euros for families with Isee below 50 thousand euros, to which yes they add another 300 euros for computers if the ISEE is less than 20 thousand euros. The program also includes discounts for businesses, which will however be available later.

WHO HAS THE RIGHT The pc and internet bonus of 500 euros (200 euros for connection + 300 euros for internet and pc on loan for use) is up to families with an ISEE of up to 20 thousand euros, while for families with ISEE between 20 and 50 thousand euros it is due instead only an internet bonus of 200 euros, for connectivity of at least 30 Mbps. According to the latest rumors, applications can be submitted from 20 September.
