UP 4000: meant to make your hobby your job

AAEON introduces the UP 4000, the successor to the UP Board. In the same format as the predecessor, the new version offers more I/O, more expandability, up to 30% increase in computing power and doubling 3D performance. This board is built around an Intel Apollo Lake CPU (Celeron, Atom or quadcore Pentium) and is compatible with Raspberry Pi 2 hats.

The UP 4000 can be configured with 16, 32 or 64 GB of emmc storage and 2, 4 or 8 GB of lpddr4 ram. In addition, a carrier board with m.2 slot will be released this year, with options for ai, wifi, bluetooth and 5G. AAEON indicates that this board is suitable for digital signage, IoT and industrial automation. It would bridge the gap between hobby and business.

The complete specificaties mention, among other things, that this board would like 12V and can run Windows 10. It can be ordered in the up-shop and prices range from $129 to $259, depending on configuration.
