Funny professional shift, at a time when the public hospital is understaffed, in the midst of the covid crisis. It is that Marlène Bourven is temporarily suspended, for lack of vaccination.

“I have nothing of an antivax”

A choice that she calmly justifies. “I have nothing of an antivax. Besides, I am up to date on all my other vaccinations. But I remain wary of new technologies like Messenger RNA, on which we lack perspective. If I had been ten years older, my decision might have been different. At my age, with a very low risk of a serious form of covid, the balance is clearly unfavourable. I was also contaminated in November, I got out of it with a night of fever. If the young woman has not compromised, it is also because outside, the job market has become attractive. “I stopped working at the hospital on a Thursday. And frankly, I’m not complaining! »
