UNT Dallas cancels in-person classes due to winter weather

The University of North Texas announced Tuesday that it will have no in-person activities on its Dallas campus due to a frost forecast for the region midweek.

The weather forecast predicted freezing temperatures starting Tuesday due to the arrival of a new cold front and freezing winds in North Texas.

UNT Dallas has decided that classes on Wednesday, February 23, and Thursday, February 24, will be held virtually exclusively, said Yolanda Franklin, vice president of communications for UNT Dallas.

In-person operations and classes at UNT Law College will also be suspended on both days. The activities will go online.
