The latest border inspection unqualified list was announced. A total of 14 unqualified products, such as Philippine fresh pineapples, Indonesian mung bean kernels, etc., were found to have excessive pesticides or other unqualified conditions, and all were returned or destroyed.

Strawberries imported from Japan have been intercepted at the border many times due to pesticide residue violations. This time, two more batches were found to be substandard. Lin Jinfu, deputy director of the Food and Drug Administration, told a reporter from Central News Agency that one of the batches came from Fukuoka, Japan, and 1.2 ppm of the residual pesticide submeriper was detected exceeding the standard, as well as 0.04 ppm of the subquinone mite metabolite that cannot be detected according to regulations; another batch of problematic strawberries It was imported from Tochigi, and the residual pesticide flunidine was found to be illegal at 0.13 ppm.

Lin Jinfu said that statistics from January 1 to December 18 this year, a total of 1,084 batches of imported strawberries from Japan were submitted for inspection, of which 19 batches failed to pass the inspection, accounting for 1.75%. The main reason for failure was pesticide residues, and monitoring will be maintained. Inspection, that is, 100% inspection batch by batch until April 30 next year.

Italian truffles have also been intercepted at the border for many times in violation of regulations. This time they were caught as a problematic product. “White truffles (TARTUFO BIANCO)” were found to have a heavy metal cadmium content of 5 mg/kg, which is higher than the mushroom limit of 2 mg/kg. A total of 1 batch of 0.50 kilograms was returned or destroyed in accordance with regulations and did not enter the market.

Six batches of containers imported from mainland China failed to comply with dissolution tests. Lin Jinfu said that one of the batches was a 4-piece chopping board set. According to statistics, from January 1 to December 18 this year, there were 128 batches of chopping boards and chopping boards submitted for inspection in mainland China, and 13 batches of unqualified batches. The unqualified rate is 10.16%. The reason for the violation is the failure of the evaporation residue test. The border will maintain 100% batch-by-batch inspection until the end of the year, and will be suspended from December 19 this year to January 18 next year for 7 major problem manufacturing plants. The other five batches of unqualified products are all made of polypropylene plastic, including drain baskets, plates, etc. Lin Jinfu explained that statistics from January 1 to December 18 this year, a total of 1,210 batches of polypropylene plastic tableware from mainland China were submitted for inspection, of which 36 batches were unqualified, accounting for 2.98%. The same 100% batch-by-batch inspection has been maintained until the end of this year. .
