– This weekend, more precipitation, rising temperatures and increasing winds have been reported. This means that the risk of landslides will increase. He further points out that the last few days’ serious landslide accidents in Troms have been demanding, both for rescue crews, but also for other parts of UNN.
– The intensive care unit has now admitted more patients from the landslide accidents, and the operating capacity is under pressure. Together, this has posed major emergency preparedness challenges, and last night a patient had to be sent to another regional hospital for surgical treatment, the clinic chief tells his own website.
