A university student from the San Francisco Xavier University School of Public Accounting used the Facebook account of “El Confesionario UCB” to report an alleged harassment by a teacher of Intermediate Accounting, who would have proposed to go out with him to approve The matter. In the “U” of Sucre there are no complaints against any teacher of this matter, but there are against others, according to the president of the Permanent Court of Proceedings, Rodolfo Mérida.

The university student, identified as Confession # 158, tells in her complaint that she took her final exam for that subject and only had 18 points to pass, but the day after the exam she received a message request to AB’s Messenger with this message: “I’m sorry miss your final exam grade was not enough to pass.”

The teacher asked him to attend the review of his exam at 18:00 that day, in the Faculty, where there were at least 20 students who entered personally to verify their test. She remembers it was number 7, but the teacher told her to wait until the end.

According to the university, she was the last to be interviewed, but coincidentally the teacher argued that she had forgotten her exam, but had noted that the grade was not enough to pass. So, to achieve the points that were missing, he proposed to her if she was willing to accept an exit with him, “just one”.

The teacher insisted that she agree to go out with him, indicating that “he will not regret it.” But the student closed that possibility and demanded a photo of the review of her exam and then demanded the intervention of a court.

“For the record, we are doing this outside of class and classroom,” the teacher later warned him, who, according to the complaint, continued to send the student messages inviting her to go out, until at the end he told her that he would put a note on it, but, in the words of the victim, “that I was left owing him one.”

The university student comments that she did not file any complaint, considering that she would be the most affected.

UNIVERSITY: NO COMPLAINT

CORREO DEL SUR asked the rector Sergio Padilla if he knew of this case and he indicated that he was not, but that he will find out anyway because it could be that the university has gone directly to the Court of Processes.

The president of the Permanent Court of Proceedings, Rodolfo Mérida, informed this newspaper that in that instance there are two complaints for alleged sexual harassment, but none against a Public Accounting teacher.
