Universal Iberland is one of the more than 50 companies that have obtained the Informa-elEconomista Certificate for Excellent Management.
They are an enterprising, innovative and international company, dedicated to the import and export of fruit and vegetable juices, pulps, concentrated and chopped juices. Jorge Garrido, CEO of Universal Iberland answers our questions:
What does your company do?
To the commercialization of fruits and vegetables processed naturally without additives for food industries. Specialized in juices, purees and concentrated juices in the qualities required by customers such as organic, baby food or conventional.
What have you done to survive the crisis caused by the pandemic?
Expand the range of products to be able to offer more products to more customers or have more possibilities with existing customers, in addition to attending national and international fairs.
What motivated you to apply for the certificate? How demanding has this process been?
We believe that we are doing a good job all these years, with the team we have, consolidating ourselves in the national and international market, but we wanted to know what were the conditions to qualify for this certification and to see for future years what objectives we should achieve to improve as a company, and we were pleased to know that we complied with most of them, but that there are still some to improve.

What does it mean for you to have received the certificate?
It is a gratitude for the effort made over the years, which recognizes the effort behind all of us, and this recognition is always good as a consolidation for our customers, suppliers, banks, insurances… who can see that we do our job well.
