According to Kevin O’Connor, his doctor who has been following him for more than ten years, the American head of state is “in good health”, “vigorous” and “able” to fulfill his duties. To determine the health of Joe Biden, the practitioner conducted a series of examinations, including in particular “an extremely detailed neurological examination”, according to the report made public by the White House.
Kevin O’Connor notes, however, that a “lesion” was taken from the chest of the president and will be the subject of an autopsy. For the rest, Joe Biden only has minor ailments, treated with three prescription drugs.
The Democrat is thus being treated for “non-valvular atrial fibrillation”, a heart condition which is “stable” after treatment, a high level of lipids in the blood also successfully corrected by treatment, and allergies.
For the rest, no change either: the President of the United States measures 1m83 for 81 kilos, wears contact lenses, does not smoke or drink, and plays sports five times a week.
The age of Joe Biden, a source of attack
The American president has so far shown an endurance unusual for his age, linking public interventions and trips.
But his age is a frequent angle of attack from the Republican opposition. Some opponents of the president even assure that he would no longer have all his head, in view in particular of certain moments of confusion.
The Democratic president has always wanted to be transparent about his health. In November 2021, he had already submitted to a full review, the report of which the White House had released.
