Madrid’s “Atletico” footballers fought in a draw between Manchester’s United and London’s Benfica and Amsterdam’s Ajax in the first round of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday. Atletico Madrid played 1: 1 (1: 0) with Manchester United.
In the seventh minute, after the center of Renana Lodi, the goal was scored by Joao Felix – 1: 0. The Manchester club played in the 80th minute, when after the pass of Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Elanga ran out against the home goalkeeper Jan Oblak, sending the ball into the lower left corner – 1: 1.

The first two entered the next round, the third continued in the European League, and the fourth European Cup season was over. The final of this season is scheduled for May 28 in St. Petersburg, but due to Russian aggression, the city is likely to lose the right to host the prestigious match. In the 2020/2021 season, Chelsea in the Portuguese city of Porto beat Manchester City 1-0 in the final of the league competition.
