Below, the press release from the inter-union education of the Dijon academy:

“The organizations refuse to ‘turn the page’ by discussing with the rectorate other subjects than raising the retirement age to 64 and extending the contribution periods, objects of dispute by millions of strikers and demonstrators, including many education personnel, for more than 3 months now. However, the trade unions do not abdicate the defense of the immediate interests of the personnel in their exchanges with the administration so that no unfavorable decision is taken during the period.

In addition, the President of the Republic, confirmed last Thursday, April 20 the establishment of the “pact” in national education, a measure unanimously denounced by the trade unions. The president confirms his passage in force on several files against the unanimous opinion of the trade union organizations representing the personnel. That he does not count on us to help him “move on” by coming to discuss his reforms. The organizations call for a successful and massive first of May to continue to oppose the pension reform.
