“Unforgettable Indonesian Art and Culture Showcase and Educational Tour in the Philippines”

On May 16, 2023, at the Davao Indonesian House Philippines, an unforgettable promotion of Indonesian art and culture took place, with captivating performances by Dharma Wanita Persatuan and students from the Indonesian School in Davao.

Among the traditional dances on display were Rampai Batam, Gadis Melayu, Indang Badinding, Anak Medan and Gemu Famire. The guests were mesmerized by the grace of these dance movements, which are an integral part of Indonesian culture.

The promotion of Indonesian art and culture in this educational tour is an effort to introduce the richness of Indonesian art and culture, as well as the image of Indonesia, to the students and faculty of Southern Baptist College.
