Let’s discuss gem levels. There are nine gem tiers in NBA 2K24 and each one determines the overall rating range a card will be in. This is important for anyone trying to create the best collection of players possible. Any card with an overall rating below 80 is a Gold tier, followed by Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, Amethyst, Diamond, Pink Diamond, Galaxy Opal, and finally the highest tier is Dark Matter, a 99 overall. In NBA 2K24, MyTEAM will begin Season 1 with Diamond as the highest gem class available, with new card tiers available throughout the year.
