With the experience and consistency that very few politicians in the country currently have, the deputy from Morena Porfirio Muñoz Ledo yesterday he gave a couple of lessons to members of his caucus.
First, Don Porfirio met, virtually, with his colleagues in the bench where the process of approval of the presidential initiative to modify the Expenditure Budget, without restrictions, in cases of emergencies.
In this virtual meeting Muñoz Ledo gave a chair of constitutional law explaining what would happen with the approval of this initiative, since they would be granted, to a single power, all discretionary powers to reallocate resources.
In the afternoon, through his Twitter account, in which the deputy already has a good rating, he said that in this meeting he took the position of go against to grant one-person faculties to the Executive outside the Constitution.
He also lashed out at the decision that deputies be summoned to a extraordinary period for next Tuesday for approve the President’s initiative of the Republic.
A true class on the part of the master Porfirio, however, apparently little will they take advantage of the lessons because everything indicates that the Budget Committee would meet on Thursday to endorse the opinion, with minor modifications, and on Tuesday the steamroller Morena would approve it and it would be sent to the Senate.
Everything indicates that the lessons from Professor Muñoz Ledo on the risks of giving more power to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, were not understood.
