Unc0ver 6.0.0: iOS 14 jailbreak for iPhone 12 and other models

The iOS 14 jailbreak is now possible thanks to Unc0ver 6.0.0, with compatibility with iPhone 12 and all other models. It is the first public jailbreak for the latest iPhones.

The first jailbreak of iOS 14 is possible thanks to Unc0ver 6.0.0

Unc0ver 6.0.0 offers the jailbreak of iOS 14 up to iOS 14.3. Already on iOS 14.4? It’s damn, you can’t upgrade to iOS 14.3 since Apple hasn’t signed this version since the beginning of the month. On the other hand, the jailbreak is offered to you if you have iOS 14.3 or an earlier version.

The iOS 14 jailbreak with Unc0ver is similar to previous versions for iOS 13. The installation is done in the same way and we find Cydia after the operation. It thus becomes possible to install tweaks, themes and other utilities.

Unc0ver 6.0.0 is available now for download from Unc0ver.dev. The installation is not done directly on the iPhone, however. You have to go through a computer and AltStore. This manipulation should only be performed the first time. Once it’s done, just open Unc0ver and touch the “Jailbreak” button. Cydia will appear once the jailbreak process is complete.

Point to take into account: you will have to re-break your iPhone in case of restarting the device. But no, there is no need to worry about the tweaks: they will always be there.

Checkra1n also offers the jailbreak of iOS 14

Unc0ver 6.0.0 certainly offers an iOS 14 jailbreak, but it’s not the first to do so. There is Checkra1n which has been offering this possibility for a while. But that’s a different matter, since Checkra1n relies on a hardware flaw that Apple can’t plug. The utility works on all versions (even iOS 14.4). But its support only goes up to the iPhone X. Not all iPhones that have emerged since this model are compatible. This is where Unc0ver comes in, which supports all models, including the iPhone 12.
