The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the United Nations announcement of the completion of the withdrawal of crude oil from the floating tank “Saffer”, off the coast of the Republic of Yemen.

In a statement today, Monday, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, carried by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), appreciated the tireless efforts made by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, regional and international countries, and the leadership of the “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen” led by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to end this crisis and prevent without an environmental catastrophe.

The UAE welcomed the United Nations’ announcement to complete the plan to unload the floating oil tanker “Safer” off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the efforts of the United Nations and the endeavors of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, and the support provided by the Coalition for Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen and donor countries in terms of facilitating the success of unloading the dilapidated floating oil tank, which spared the region and the world an environmental and humanitarian disaster, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM). wam).
