Jeddah: A native of Malappuram who had come to perform Umrah died in Mecca. The deceased is Marayangat Kunjaputti (63), resident of Vaidyar Pati, Edapal Perumbaram. He died on Wednesday afternoon. He had come to perform Umrah in a private group with his wife on the 30th of last month.

He had reached Mecca from Medina on Tuesday for Umrah and visit to Medina. After the formalities are completed, his body will be buried in Mecca.
