Wèèrmdraaje: the official Kruiken VrijMiBo
Traditionally, the Carnival Foundation kicks off carnival with a VrijMiBo at the most carnivalesque pub of last year. That is The Eleventh Commandment at the Palace Ring. Everyone is welcome from 5:11 PM and the first round is from the Carnival Foundation.
Pub crawl
Dwèèle, who doesn’t know it. The Kroegendwèèl tour is on the program on Friday evening from 7:11 PM. You can get a tie at most bars. Take your tie to as many pubs as possible to have a drink. If you pick up a stamp at 11 pubs, you can exchange your paper tie for a small tie emblem for your outfit. A nice souvenir. During the Kroegendwèèltocht it is also possible to vote for your favorite Kruikenkroeg. You will find a QR code for this on your tie.
More cool parties
Drunken breakfast on the Kruikenplein
Don’t be surprised if you see hundreds of Jars and Jars passing through the city on Friday morning. The Dronkedaorissen breakfast is on the program at Kruikenplein. None other than Frans Bauer will perform here. You do need tickets for this event, but there are still a number of them available.
Largest VrijMiBo on Piusplein
The largest VrijMiBo in Kruikenstad is organized on Piusplein – in front of Café Brandpunt and Café Bolle. Lanterfantje, CV De Kapotte Kachels and many others come along.
The Grand Square Festival and the Afterfestijn on the Paleisring
A large kiosk will be placed again on the Paleisring – in front of The Cat’s Back – where the Grote Pleinfestijn is on the program. DJ Daan Geven will spin the records on Friday.
From neighbor to neighbor in Stadhuisstraat
Stadhuisstraat is also dedicated to Dwèèle. In the street, Dweil door ‘t Straotje from neighbor to neighbor with CV Confetti is on the program. Expect DJs, live performances, confetti, beer and fun in abundance.
DJ Sebastiaan and DJ Dennis Beso in Het Feestpaleis
This year you will find Het Feestpaleis in front of Sportsbar Papa Jim and Feestcafé de Prins. On Friday evenings, DJ Sebastiaan and DJ Dennis Beso will play the records from 6:00 PM. You don’t want to miss it.
Tommie-C, Singer Rens, DJ Tristan and DJ Jor-D at the Korte Heuvel
Of course there is also a party at the Korte Heuvel. They will kick off from 1:00 PM with DJ Tommie-C. Singer Rens will come by at 4:11 PM and the evening will end with DJ Tristan and DJ Jor-D.
