In Donbass, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 11 attacks by Russian invaders and destroyed more than 30 units of enemy equipment in a day.
This is reported by the grouping of the Joint Forces in the social network Facebook.
“Ukrainian defenders and defenders from the group of the Joint Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks today. Our brave warriors inflict losses on Russian invaders in manpower and equipment,” the report says.
In particular, over the past day, the military personnel of the Joint Forces Group destroyed:
- 8 tanks;
- 3 artillery systems;
- 10 units of combat armored vehicles;
- 3 special armored vehicles;
- 6 vehicles.
In addition, air defense units in the sky of the Ukrainian Donbass shot down an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle and a ZALA operational-tactical unmanned aerial system.
At the same time, the invaders fired on more than 30 settlements in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, destroyed and damaged 83 civilian objects, including: 72 residential buildings, two schools, a hostel, a monastery of the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra, two shops, a hangar with sunflower seeds and a number of utility and storage facilities.
“As a result of these attacks, at least 4 civilians were killed, another 5 were injured. Search work is ongoing, rescuers are still sorting out the rubble,” the report says.
