Sofiia Karkadym tells The Sun that she does not feel responsible for the breakdown of the relationship of the people who hosted her. “I loved the family. I spent a lot of time with his girlfriend and I tried to help her, but she was two-faced. Her constant suspicion created a lot of tension and that only pushed me and Tony closer together.”

Sofia clearly has no regrets about breaking up with her host family. “She created this situation by constantly suggesting that something was wrong when it wasn’t. So this is her own fault.”

Tony’s ex-girlfriend has also responded. Lorna Garnett tells The Sun that she is broken. “Sofiia had set her sights on my husband from the start. She doesn’t care if she destroys our family.” Garnett has lost faith in her fellow man. “I wanted to help someone in need by giving her shelter. This is what I get in return.”
