This is stated by the Prime Minister’s office in a press release.

– I warmly welcome Zelenskyj to Norway. Now I look forward to meeting and having conversations with him. Norway continues to support Ukraine’s defense struggle. We give Ukraine strong and long-term support in its struggle for freedom and democracy. It is also important for our freedom and security, says Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in the press release.

The Royal House informs that Zelenskyj will also meet the King on Wednesday.

The visit to Oslo takes place at the same time as Støre is hosting a Nordic summit, where cooperation on defense and security policy is on the agenda. President Zelenskyy will also attend this meeting.

According to the plan, Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and Icelandic Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir will be present during the summit.

The Royal House also informs that King Harald will receive Zelenskyj in audience. Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Håkon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit will also be present.

The president has a lot on his schedule, but it doesn’t stop there. Zelenskyj will also address the representatives of the Storting on Wednesday, as well as have meetings with the president of the Storting and the parliamentary leaders.

– It is a great honor to receive Zelenskyj in the Storting. This shows the seriousness of the situation, and it shows that we stand together for our common democratic values. We must be constantly aware of the war in Ukraine, even if it is now dragging on, says Parliament President Masud Gharahkhani in a press release.

During Zelenskyi’s visit to the United States on Tuesday, Biden pledged to stand by Ukraine and provide a new military aid of $200 million.

However, there is disagreement among those elected in the United States about whether to continue with the support.
