The Ukrainian national team completed the qualification for the semi-finals of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, after defeating France 3/1 in the quarter-finals of the tournament held in Romania and Georgia.
The French team advanced through Rayan Sharqi in the 19th minute, before Heuerhi Sudakov equalized for the Ukrainian national team from a penalty kick in the 32nd minute.
In the 44th minute, Sudakov scored the second goal for himself and the Ukrainian national team, then Artem Bondarenko added the third goal in the 86th minute.
The Ukrainian national team will play with its Spanish counterpart in the semi-finals, and it is qualified for this role after its victory over Switzerland 2/1 in the quarter-finals.
The other semi-final match brings together the England team, which defeated Portugal 1-0, and the Israeli team, which defeated Georgia 4-3 on penalty kicks, after the match ended in a goalless draw.
