As Cursor reported, Ukrainian servicemen will enter Crimea this year, “when it is still warm.” This was stated by the representative of the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov. He noted that the situation is constantly being adjusted, but the overall assessment remains unchanged: Ukraine will definitely return Crimea. In this context, Budanov’s words will have a prophetic meaning, Yusov emphasized.
When asked about a possible new date for the forecast, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate replied that the operations of the Ukrainian security and defense forces are currently being actively carried out, so it is wrong to discuss specific dates. However, he expressed confidence that this will happen “when it is still warm.”
Cursor also wrote that Ukraine would be able to break through Russian positions and reach the occupied Crimean peninsula if the United States transferred ATACMS long-range missile systems. This was told by the former commander of the US Army in Europe, Ben Hodges.
According to him, in the presence of such missiles, Crimea can be liberated by the end of summer. He also noted that it is too early to draw conclusions about the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army and noted that he remains optimistic about the prospects for Kyiv.
