According to the Ukrainians, they have shot down two Russian SU-34 aircraft. It is a combination of fighter and bomber aircraft, according to the Reuters news agency.
They also claim to have shot down an SU-35 fighter jet.
The planes were shot down over eastern Ukraine, according to Ukrainian authorities.
– On Saturday morning, three Russian planes were destroyed at the same time by the Ukrainian air force, writes the head of the air force Mykola Oleshchuk Telegram.

They write that the three planes together amount to a loss for the Russians of around 100 million US dollars. This corresponds to roughly NOK 1 billion.
