Ukrainian aid has been transferred to 50,652 farmers – Agro Plovdiv – 2024-05-09 14:07:42


BGN 290,882,103 was received by 50,652 farmers under the state aid “Aid to support the liquidity of farmers to overcome the negative economic impact of Russian aggression against Ukraine” and “Aid to support the liquidity of farmers, producers of grain and oil crops” , to overcome the negative economic impact of Russian aggression against Ukraine”. The help is paid off a week earlier than the deadline – May 15. This term was agreed at the negotiations of the representatives of agricultural organizations with the acting Prime Minister Glavchev, the Minister of Agriculture Geolgi Takhov and the Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova at the end of April.

The funds of the other applicants for the aid will be paid out after additional administrative checks have been carried out according to item 3 of Section II of the Instructions for the application of the aid.

Livestock breeders raising large and small ruminants, bee colonies, producers of fruits and vegetables, wine vineyards, rose oil, tobacco, wheat, corn, barley, sunflower and rape are eligible for financing.

The provision of funds for the so-called “Ukrainian aid” became possible after the restructuring of funds of the State Fund “Agriculture” and secured additional funds from the national budget.
