Zelensky also stressed that the systems are still not enough to fully protect Ukraine, but for this they “work every day.”
Air defense for Ukraine
Let us remember that Ukraine’s Western allies have repeatedly provided our country with air defense systems. In particular, they transferred weapons that are capable of shooting down enemy ballistic missiles.
As of now, Ukrainian defenders have at their disposal only two types of such anti-aircraft missile systems that can shoot down “all” targets – Patriot and SAMP/T.
The last time Patriot supplies to Ukraine were known was December 14 last year. Then Germany handed over such an air defense system to our military.
