As reported by UNIAN, in April, people’s deputies adopted bill No. 10379 in the first reading. The edit is provided greatly increase the fines for speculators for breaking the weapons registration rules. For example, now for refusing a summons or not appearing at the military registration and registration office they are fined 3400 – 8500 UAH, new fines could be as follows:
– in peacetime – it costs from 5,100 to 8,500 UAH (for civilians), from 17,000 to 34,000 UAH (officials and legal entities);
– during the war – from 17,000 to 25,500 UAH and from 34,000 to 59,000 UAH, respectively.
On April 30, the head of the subcommittee on criminal legislation and the fight against crime of the Rada Committee on Law Enforcement Affairs, Alexander Bakumov, said that the relevant committee had freed up the bill as much as possible, and taxes are greatly reduced.
According to him, if we compare, the government proposed to impose an administrative penalty on the citizens of Ukraine in the amount of 153 thousand UAH to 204 thousand UAH. In the draft prepared by the subcommittee and recommended, the maximum amount of administrative punishment for an administrative offense committed at a certain time – during martial law, is 17-25,5 thousand UAH.
Bakumov noted that any changes to the Criminal Code and criminal liability for failure of the IHC, proposed by the government, are excluded. The possibility of administrative detention related to evasion was also removed, in particular, special administrative detention, which is related to the violation of the rules of military registration or transfer.
