Presidential press secretary Sergei Nikiforov wrote on Facebook that Ukraine agreed to the proposal of the President of the Russian Federation for negotiations, and now the parties are consulting on the place and time.

Nikiforov denied the information that Ukraine refused to negotiate, which was distributed in Russia.

«Ukraine was and remains ready to talk about a ceasefire and peace. This is our permanent position. We agreed to the proposal of the President of the Russian Federation.
