Ukraine supplies just about everything to the EU: it is one of the main exporters of grains including wheat, soya, maize, vegetable oil, but also ores such as iron, steel products and finished products such as machinery. There are also a lot of rare minerals in Ukrainian soil that are found in few places, but are essential for the development of modern economies and technology. These have not yet been exploited en masse in Ukraine, but have attracted increasing attention from investors from Europe, the US, China, India and Australia in recent years.
