Ukraine claimed to have killed around 11,000 soldiers Russia since the Red Bear Country began the invasion until Sunday (6/3). They also stated that the Russian soldiers began to panic and fear.
These claims are summarized in the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Embassy in Jakarta then sent a summary of the data to CNNIndonesia.comMonday (7/3).
“The total combat losses of the enemy since the start of the operation, personnel are more than 11,000 people,” the statement said.
The statement also listed the number of Russian defense equipment that Ukraine destroyed, namely 285 tanks, 985 artillery systems, 109 rocket launcher systems and 50 air defense systems.
They also claimed to have destroyed 21 planes, 44 helicopters, 48 drones, 2 ships and 447 Russian military vehicles.
“The enemy is frightened, the enemy is confused, the enemy panics!” reads one of the quotes in the statement.
In addition, the Ukrainian military also claims that Russia has failed to achieve their main goal since the first day of the invasion, which is to take control of the country’s capital, Kyiv.
As a result of this failure, Russia is said to be focusing their military operations in the south to prevent Ukraine’s access to the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
Not only that, the Russian troops are said to have exhausted almost the entire reserve army and are trying to send additional units from the eastern, central and western military districts. However, Russian troops are still trying to take control of several Ukrainian cities.
“Despite the loss of personnel and equipment, the occupiers, with the support of the air force, are focusing their efforts on capturing Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Mykolayiv, reaching the administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk, and establishing a land corridor in Crimea.”
Even so, the Ukrainian military claims to continue to carry out defense operations at various points, such as in Donetsk, Slobozhansky, and Tavriya.
Ukrainian troops in Kyiv are also still defending their borders and continue to fight for vital sites that have the potential to threaten defense.
Entering the twelfth day, the war in Ukraine is getting hotter. So far, the United Nations has reported that 360 civilians have died as a result of Russian strikes, while Ukraine’s emergency services have claimed the death toll has reached 2,000.
