Uelzen district – Corona update

Corona-Update (16.01.2021, 2 pm)

Since the last corona update on January 15, 2021, there have been nine more confirmed corona virus infections in the Uelzen district. The total number of confirmed cases is now 668; 536 people in whom the virus has so far been detected have recovered and eight have died.

The 7 day incidence per 100,000 inhabitants in the Uelzen district is at a value of 99,6 (As of: January 16, 2021, 9 a.m., source: NLGA). See also https://www.niedersachsen.de/Coronavirus/aktuelle_lage_in_niedersachsen/.

Currently, 27 people are being treated for COVID-19 in the Helios Clinic Uelzen. There are 419 people in quarantine at home, 75 of whom are returnees living in the Uelzen district.

Attention new: The number of vaccinations carried out so far is 614 in the Uelzen district and 430 in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district, so a total of 1,044. Note: (From now on this information will only be published on Fridays as part of the “Corona update”)
