The sponsorship deal between Gazprom and UEFA has been going on since 2012 and is said to be worth €40 million per season.

sport">Earlier Monday, the German football club Schalke 04 already reported that the relationship with main sponsor Gazprom had been terminated. The club had previously removed the advertisements of the Russian natural gas company from the shirt. The deal ran until 2025 and yielded the football club about 9 million euros per year.
