Ubisoft Shows First Far Cry 6 Gameplay Footage Friday Night – Gaming – News

Ubisoft has announced a livestream in which the company will show the first gameplay footage of Far Cry 6. This stream will be broadcast on Friday 28 May and can be viewed on YouTube.

In a teaser Ubisoft confirms that the first Far Cry 6 gameplay footage will be shown on Friday evening at 6:30 PM Dutch time on Youtube. The developer does not say how long the live stream will last. The teaser features Giancarlo Esposito, among others. That actor is known for Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian, among others, and will play the antagonist in the upcoming Far Cry title.

Far Cry 6 became last year in july already announced. The game was initially scheduled to release on February 18, 2021, but the title was later postponed. Ubisoft reported earlier this year that the game should be released “before September 30.” Rainbow Six: Quarantine must also be released before that time. Ubisoft will also hold a Forward presentation on June 12, during the E3 2021 digital trade show.

Multiple other live streams for future games will be held this week. On Thursday, among other things, a Dying Light 2-livestream and a State of Play presentation on Horizon: Forbidden West shown at 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM Dutch time respectively.
