Ubisoft he would eventually decide to fire two senior executives accused of sexual abuse e mistreatment to employees in the past few weeks. The news has not yet been confirmed by the publisher, but Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has received confirmation from some of his sources, considered reliable, that now the fate of the two, aka Tommy François and Maxime Béland, would be sealed.
Both have received accuse multiple by employees who put their faces on it or by others who wanted to remain anonymous for fear of repercussions. François is the vice president for editorial and creative services and works (goes) in the Paris office, while Béland is the vice president of editorial and works in the Toronto offices.
Contacted by Schreier, the two did not want to comment on the matter, while Ubisoft, by voice of Stephanie Magnier, said only that they are both under investigation and therefore there is nothing to declare at the moment.
After the accusations, Ubisoft launched internal investigations, also using the services of some external consultants, to find out the truth about what happened.
