Ubisoft has come out to emphasize that Prince of Persia Remake is still alive and well and will not go away.
In a post celebrating the 20th anniversary of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, the team at Ubisoft Montréal revealed the progress of development on the remake, emphasizing that the game is moving in the direction that correct and has passed the “important” period of creation.
“As you all know, the Ubisoft Montréal team remains committed to reimagining this legendary story. And we’re happy to announce that the project (Prince of Persia Remake) has now passed an important stage. And the creation will continue” – Ubisoft said.

After Prince of Persia Remake received some not-so-flattering announcements during its announcement, the Ubisoft team decided to delay the game’s release date indefinitely. And has changed studios many times, until recently the project was in the hands of Ubisoft Montréal or the creators of the Assassin’s Creed series.
