Carlos F. Oliveira is an astronomer and science educator.

Degree in business administration.
Degree in Astronomy, Science Fiction and Scientific Communication.
PhD in Science Education with a specialization in Astrobiology, at the University of Texas.

Were Research Affiliate-Fellow em Astrobiology Education at the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
He has worked at the Maryland Science Center, USA, and the Astronomy Outreach Project, UK.
He received two awards from the ESA (European Space Agency).

He carried out several interviews in the Portuguese, British and American media, and gave numerous lectures and activities in the three countries mentioned.

Created and taught for several years an innovator astrobiology course at the University of Texas, which aimed to transmit multidisciplinary knowledge of astrobiology and develop students’ critical thinking.
