UAZ posted on social networks images of the UAZ-452 van with an unusual design, the author of which was the artist Andrey Davydov.

The concept received narrow LED headlights, a roof rack, a wide track, side skirts and “USSR 100” nameplates.

“What do you say, there is a hit in the image? And by the way, what color of the body do you think is the most advantageous for this modification – white or dark gray? ” – asked UAZ to rate the users of the car design, calling it futuristic.

Some users criticized the concept for the width of the car, suggesting that the front passengers would be too cramped, and given the frame structure, the distance from the floor to the ceiling would be very low. Others called the concept attractive and original.

The company confirmed that part of the work on the project was frozen due to the pandemic, but UAZ does not plan to completely abandon it.

“Unfortunately, part of the work on the new project was frozen due to the pandemic, but we are already working on a new investment schedule and plan for its implementation. Unfortunately, changes in the model range are not a quick process and are costly, both technical and financial. But we are actively working in this direction and will definitely tell you about all the changes, ”wrote the UAZ.

UAZ “Bukhanka” has been produced since 1965, and during this time it has not undergone significant changes in its design. But UAZ continues to modernize the car – last year there was a version “Expedition”, which differs from the rest of the SGR line with additional off-road equipment and an impressive price.
