One Ukrainian soldier was wounded by an explosion of VOG-17 fragmentation grenades, which the enemy dropped from a drone.
Over the past day, separatists in the Donbas opened fire on Ukrainian positions 12 times, and a Ukrainian soldier was wounded. This was announced on Sunday, May 2, by the press center of the JFO headquarters.
It is noted that the enemy used 82 caliber mortars, large-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
In addition, an enemy UAV was seen near Mayorsk crossing the demarcation line, and in the Vodyanoye area, using an unmanned aerial vehicle, the separatists dropped VOG-17 fragmentation grenades at the positions of the Ukrainian military.
The headquarters noted that the Ukrainian military opened fire on the shelling of the enemy.
Since the beginning of the current day, the enemy has not violated the silence.
As a reminder, on Friday, the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass said that chances of an “Easter truce” practically absent. However, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed the hope that there will be no shelling in the Donbas on Easter.
