Duarte.- The Autonomous University of Santo Domingo UASD in the San Francisco de Macorís Campus, together with the School of Social Communication announced the opening, in the campus of that academy, of the master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Public Relations, for the period 2021 -2023, with a conference on August 3 and for which there are still places available.
The director of the aforementioned school, Félix Almonte, assured that the program seeks to provide teachers with skills in addressing and solving problems in the field of Strategic Communication and Public Relations in the digital age.
Francis de Leon, secretary of the Dominican College of Journalists in the northeast section, invited communicators and press workers to participate in this superior training activity, to keep communicational knowledge up to date.
While Nelly Then, coordinator of the fourth level program, pointed out that on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 6:00 PM will be our simultaneous opening, with the centers of Santiago and Headquarters, for which virtual will develop the conference Political communication in Latin America: Experiences and Learning. While the journalist and specialist in Advertising and Social Media and postgraduate communications manager Miguel Montilla, also secretary of the master’s degree, explained that the San Francisco de Macorís Campus will host teachers from the northeast region, so they have registered participants from the provinces Hermanas Mirabal, Duarte, Sánchez Ramírez, María Trinidad Sánchez and other communities in this area of the country, also adding that the pandemic forces to start this program under the virtual modality (until the presence is authorized).
The program seeks to train professionals capable of creating strategic communication and public relations plans articulated to institutional development, in order to achieve compliance and competitive positioning of organizations.
DURATION AND COST:
The master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Public Relations, for the period 2021-2023 will have a duration of two (2) years, distributed in six four-month academic periods, with a load of 52 credits and 17 subjects.
It has an established average cost of 158,000 pesos, the registration of 7 thousand pesos and 8 thousand the propaedeutic.
Among the Admission Requirements are Three (3) 2 x 2 photos, Legalized birth certificate, Curriculum Vitae, Copy of title legalized by MESCYT, Original record of notes, legalized by MESCYT, Medical certificate, issued by the Medical Dispensary of the UASD, Photocopy of the identity and electoral card, Photocopy of each of the documents, and include all the documents in an 8.5 x 11 folder.
