DUBAI – The faithful have been called upon to embrace the holy month with devotion in the Friday prayers ahead of the start of Ramadan. In the prayers in the mosques, the messages for the arrival of the month of Ramadan were heard. The Imams asked to use the time for pious activities. Days and nights full of blessings are coming. Do not spread fake information and news. The religious leaders also said that they should cooperate with the government officials and institutions that lead the community security.
Head of Religious Affairs Department Dr. Umar Habtoor informed that 5276 mosques under the Department of Religious Affairs are ready for worship in the month of Ramadan. 20 scholars from 9 Arab and Islamic countries will arrive in the UAE from tomorrow on a special invitation. They will attend special events during Ramadan as guests of the UAE President. According to the President’s order, one lakh copies of the Quran will be distributed in Ramadan.
