The workshop reviewed the experiences of the comprehensive digital certification project from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the work package project from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and highlighted the results achieved by the two projects in shortening procedures, raising efficiency levels, speeding up completion, and facilitating the customer’s journey.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khaled Belhoul, discussed the comprehensive digital certification project, which succeeded in making it possible to apply for the digital certification through the platform of the entity that issued the document, and to obtain the certificate digitally certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country’s mission abroad within five minutes, and in one step, instead of The old procedure required six working days and nine steps.
A dialogue session touched on the experience of the Work Package Project, in which the Director of the Electronic Services Department at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Salem Al Yasi, Major Darwish Al Mansouri from the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and Khamis Al Fayoumi from the Al Futtaim Group, spoke about the importance of cooperation and integration between federal and local government agencies.
