votes after the match /source: hockeyslovakia.sk/:

Ivan Fenes, SR 20 coach: “We played our best match in preparation. We are very happy because we were dominant, we prevailed in terms of goals. Our game was really quality. Preparation was difficult, but in the last match we can be satisfied with our game.

Finally, the hockey sticks arrived for Filip Mešár and Servác Petrovský, who had been wandering somewhere for six days. You could tell from their game, our elite attack prevailed, they played excellently. They played the power game brilliantly. In the third half we gave them a break and saved up a bit for the next games. After a two-week lockout, we will now take the day off and announce the final WC nomination on 25 December.”

Dalibor Dvorský, scorer of SR’s second goal: “I think we were better, from start to finish. We needed this win. It’s still just preparation, we have to take the good things with us and learn from the bad ones. I don’t know if I scored or Alex Černik. Alex l’ he shot and maybe he touched my skate, I’m not sure. Five goals gave us confidence, we needed it.”

Filip Mešár, SR 20 forward, in match 0+3: “It wasn’t easy, the Austrians were a very tough opponent, they skated well, they attacked us, they played physically. I’m very happy that we played as a team. We have a good attack and that’s what led to the goals. There were a lot of mistakes in the first period, before the second period we said something, two quick goals were scored and we were already in control of the game I am glad that my hockey sticks are finally found and I can start the tournament with them “.
