The joint meeting between the Senate and the House of Representatives became a mess due to the unprecedented situation of protesters invading. Around 5 pm, as the sun went down and the darkness began to fall, the police began to move in earnest. Flashes were seen all over the interior of the parliament building, and tear gas was fired with a “puck” sound at the protesters outside. With the thick smoke, the protesters were gradually pushed down the stairs. Among those who came down with their noses covered, a shouting was heard called “Pigs,” a slang word for police.

As Washington city officials set a curfew at 6 p.m., Ojaju National Guard troops were also mobilized. Armed forces blocked the main road. Nevertheless, on the monument erected in front of the parliament building, supporters of Trump climbed up and waved the flags and shouted the slogan “Stop the (election) stealing.” The name of this monument was’Peace Monument’.
