On Saturday, August 12, a typhoon broke through a dam in the Seven Winds area of the city of Ussuriysk. Huge volumes of water hit the city – dozens of houses were under water. Now local residents are trying to save their property.

Note that on the eve of the Russian authorities announced the evacuation of the city in connection with the flood. About 200 citizens were taken to temporary accommodation points.

It should be noted that in August a powerful typhoon hit Primorye, due to which a record amount of precipitation fell in the region. Seven municipalities have declared a state of emergency.

At the moment, more than 30 settlements in the region have been cut off by water, 40 sections of roads have been flooded. According to official figures, more than 500 houses were under water.

Recall that on the night of June 6, 2023, the Russian army blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station in southern Ukraine in an attempt to contain the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This led to a massive flood and environmental disaster in the region. The death toll is currently unknown, as part of the flooded territories is under Russian occupation. We are talking about at least dozens of victims of this aggression.

Earlier it was reported that karma overtook the Russian Krasnodar Territory with a powerful flood.
