Two years ago, Belgium-Japan: the craziest match in the history of our Devils, we repeat it brothel

If a time machine sent us back two years ago, many Belgians would like to go aboard to relive this famous July 2, 2018, when Belgium came back to Japan and came out of a much more complicated than expected match.

Normally, Euro 2020 should be in full swing. As of today, the names of the last eight nations entered in the tournament should have been known. In truth, it will still take a little year to find out if the Red Devils will once again succeed in making any country shiver until the quarter-final of the competition. Nevertheless, we console ourselves this Thursday, July 2 with a delicious memory of the 2018 World Cup when the Belgians obtained, with the snatch, a qualification for the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Two years ago today, 11 million Belgians went through a lot of different emotions. Optimism (before the match), hope (when they reduced the score), passing by a sad disillusionment (when the Belgians were led 0-2), to finally arrive at a feeling of deliverance when, in during additional time, the Devils made the difference during a dazzling offensive reconversion. We repeat the mess.
