Two US military have died and two others have been injured on Saturday by the explosion of an improvised explosive device in the province of Kandahar (Afghanistan), according to reported the Supported Mission of Afghanistan in a statement.
The victims carried out operations as part of the NATO Resolutive Support Mission, when the vehicle in which they were traveling struck the artifact. According to the policy of the US Department of Defense, the names of the victims will not be disclosed until after 24 hours of having informed their relatives.
This NATO mission aims to train and advise Afghan military forces in their fight against extremist groups.
