OM have never dominated an opponent so much this season. The Marseillais had the ball more than 70% of the time against valiant and disciplined Reims. But what good is it to have it so much in your feet in order, ultimately, not to do much?
A liter of Red Bull each would have done them good
We don’t know what they drank at half-time but a liter each of Red Bull would have done them good. Because OM lacked energy in the last 20 meters of Marne in the second half.
And yet, we believed that the Olympians had done the hardest, by equalizing, by Thauvin, just before the break (45th). OM came from afar, after seeing his defender Nagatomo register the Reims goal in his own net (21st).
But the Olympians, ultimately not very dangerous in the second half, with a non-existent contribution from substitutes, except Khaoui, have great regrets, falling, too, on a decisive goalkeeper from Reims. The famous expression “to lose two points” is all found. The Marseille remain provisionally 4th and still have two games behind, but OM sticks their tongue out and stretches the rubber band with the podium. I can not wait for the vacation!
